Maybe quarantine isn't so bad after all

We’ve been hearing the word 'quarantine' quite a lot lately and it means something different to everyone. To some, it’s social isolation, and to others it’s a time to accomplish things at home that would otherwise not get done.

For a lot of us it is very easy to get sucked into the fear and uncertainty that the news outlets are constantly pushing. So much so that we don’t even realize the amazing opportunity we have right in front of us.

Sure social distancing and not being able to leave the house might be discouraging but I believe there are many positives to come out of this. Now’s the time to do all of the things you’ve thought about doing for so many years.

You want to grow a massive beard? Go ahead nobody is going to be seeing it. Want to finally get that housework done? You won’t find a better time than now. Do you just want to stay home all day, sit on the couch and eat Doritos while watching Netflix? That’s great, in fact, it’s even encouraged.

So while this might be a rough time for a lot of us out there, I would encourage you to try and find something positive in this situation. Even if it’s something small like being able to spend more time with your family, it can go a long way to helping you get through these challenging times. And hey, maybe you’ll find that quarantine isn’t so bad after all.
