Hello Readers,

My name is Caroline Sweeney and I am thrilled to be one of the editors for the Paw Print this semester. I took journalism last semester because I had taken several classes with Professor Heimann and enjoyed her teaching style. I also wanted to explore a different writing style beyond the confines of essays and papers. In journalism, I found a fun way to tell stories that helped me connect with our school community and share different viewpoints. That is why, when I was offered the chance to be an editor this semester, I happily said yes!

I’m really excited to share all the great stories our staff has for you! Transitioning from journalism student to editor has definitely been a change, but I’m really enjoying it so far!. My goal is that through the Paw Print, we can better connect with our school community here at LCCC. Additionally, I am also looking forward to collaborating with our writers to bring you captivating stories and important updates that celebrate our school community.

I am looking forward to a great semester! We have a lot of exciting stories to share, and I can’t wait to see what we’ll create as a team.  Let’s make the most of this semester and have some fun along the way!
