Master Your Time: The Power of a Personal Calendar
Ian Everett | Writer
I constantly have an issue with my schedule getting ruined because I'm unable to remember dates planned far in advance. On multiple occasions, I’ve had mix-ups between work, school, and leisure time. These mix-ups not only affect me but those around me. This stresses not only me but others who aren't involved.
To avoid this, I've tried various methods, but nothing has worked as well as keeping a personal schedule. By seeing what I have to do for the next five days, I can adjust and plan better. My work schedule website provides a calendar, which I add to my personal one.
The calendar feature in Canvas also helps by showing assignment due dates, allowing me to structure my schedule around classes. I add these canvas dates to my personal calendar along with my work dates.
If you build your calendar around school, you’ll be able to invest more focus and effort in it. After finishing school, you can prioritize a job or career in your scheduling.. Having a calendar has helped me, and those around me, as I am now more organized and more focused.
