United States citizens, ages 18 and older, have the right to vote in federal, state, and local elections. Young voters such as myself, should feel empowered to vote and help shape their future. Many young Americans, including myself, often question the importance of voting and how it impacts our daily lives. I'm excited to vote in this year's election and I hope to encourage others to join me in making their voices heard! Young voters will make important decisions that will shape their early years of adulthood by supporting candidates who can assist with housing, insurance, taxes, and other factors that ease the translation after college.

I was able to vote in my first election in 2018. At that time, I believed my vote would not make a difference in the outcome of the elections. However, I decided to vote and I was very happy with my decision to participate. I felt that I was contributing to the causes I cared about and helping to elect the right people I believed were best suited for the job.

I am now a strong believer that my vote is important, as I plan to cast a ballot in the 2024 elections. I hope you'll join me and cast your ballot for the federal, state, and local candidates you believe in during the 2024 election. Your vote has the power to create real change and shape the future!

The voting process starts with registering in Pennsylvania, if you will be 18-years-old by November 5th. One can register online or at many government agencies. This year registration ends on October 21st, voting begins October 29th and goes till November 5th. Registration takes a short amount of time and only has to be done once.
