The Art of Fluid Painting as a Hobby

Fluid painting is a part of abstract art. Fluid painting has no subject matter to focus on. It's a fun and messy way to express how you feel through painting. It's a technique of art that I didn't even know existed. It is hard at first when you don't know what you're doing but, once you get in the flow and the rhythm of it is so much fun. It's all about the mixture of the paint and the pouring medium to make it flow on the canvas to create a beautiful piece.
My mom and I got into fluid painting during the pandemic. I saw a video on YouTube about fluid painting and I sent it to my mom, and I told her “we should try this”. She said yes and we watched a couple more videos to see what it was about and how to do it. Christmas, I got a paint pouring starter kit and it came with a whole bunch of paints and some tools. I was so excited to give it a go. The kit didn't come with everything, like a pouring medium or canvases, so we ordered those from Amazon.
We made a bunch of mistakes when we first started. The whole process is trial and error. Since we've been doing it for three years we have gotten better every time we paint. Now that me and my mom know what we are doing we have talked about expanding into a business. Leave in the comments what your favorite hobby is.
