The Country Junction's Octoberfest Brings Opportunity and Fall Fun to All Ages

The Country Junction, a large, eccentric general store located at 6565 Interchange Road in Lehighton, will host its annual Octoberfest from the end of September to the last week of October.
“There will be hayrides, pumpkin patches, paintball wagons, a tasting room, and tons of fair rides and other seasonal activities,” said Tyler Snyder, Arcade and Internal Technologies manager.
The local “hub of fun” also features a pet adoption center, restaurant, and arcade.
Octoberfest not only attracts new customers, but also new workers. The seasonal event creates around 70 new jobs every year. These jobs help benefit the local community as the Junction (as the employees call it) trains the future local workforce.
“Octoberfest is a great opportunity for younger workers to get into the workforce and develop the skills they would need for future occupations,” said Justyn Sandt, Party and Activities manager.
These jobs are typically simple, entry-level positions that offer above-average pay. New employees can gain valuable communication and problem-solving skills in a busy, family-oriented environment.
With endless activities and events at an affordable price, there is no lack of fun and opportunity for all ages at The Country Junction.
