The Glass Box Gallery will host its next art show on Oct. 3 featuring multimedia artist Francis Beaty’s “Spontaneous Connections”.

Located in the Rothrock Library on the Schnecksville campus, the gallery is open to all students, not just art majors.

“It's for everyone, and it’s here,” said Jeremy Siedt, Assistant Professor of the Arts and Gallery Director.

Non-art students are encouraged to display their work as well. A student exhibition for January 2025, will include awards and be open to all.

Students who want to display their art but do not wish to compete can submit an application through the gallery’s Instagram, @lcccglassboxgallery. Availabilities start September 2025.

Students interested in art can also join the Art Club, which plans to organize several field trips and gallery visits. The only thing you are required to bring are ideas and an open mind.

The Art Club and the Glass Box Gallery collaborate to support one another. Revenue from the gallery sales helps fund Art Club field trips and events. In return, the club provides refreshments for gallery exhibitions and assists with installations.

Supporting the art club and gallery supports the community.

“The dream and the hope is that once we are able to build enough money within those funds here, we can start to offer scholarships to students,” Siedt said.

“Every exhibition we hold means something," said Alice Frank, Assistant Gallery Coordinator.
