Words From the Editor

This is my first issue as an editor, and I am so excited for you all to see what we have been working on so far this semester. The stories on this issue are really interesting and I am excited for everyone to read them all.

I was a part of my high school’s newspaper, and I was always looking forward to when our issues were released. It is fun for me to see other peers and teachers reading the stories we have worked so hard on. I love hearing the feedback people have. It makes all of the hard work worthwhile.

Now that I am an editor and seeing the paper coming together from our perspective is pretty amazing. We start off each paper with a blank template and lots of ideas at hand. It is so cool seeing how everything comes together over a few weeks. Ideas become printed stories and visuals come to life. I love looking back and seeing just how far we have come in a matter of weeks.

Before I know it, I will be discussing story ideas for my last issue as an editor and a student at LCCC. My time is quickly ending, but it is reassuring that I will forever have these issues to look back on. I really hope you all enjoy this issue. My team and I have worked so hard on this, and we appreciate any feedback or suggestions you may have for us.
